The School of Business Marketing Communications Office provides comprehensive support across four key functional areas to elevate our departments, programs, and strategic initiatives. Our team ensures that all marketing and outreach efforts align with University brand standards while providing the specialized tools and expertise needed for high-level project execution. From conceptualizing creative assets to managing complex digital infrastructures and media relations, we partner with you to amplify the School’s voice and impact.

Strategy & Planning
Brand Management: Application and management of University’s and School’s brand standards; messaging; assets and giveaways; resources, templates, and best practices including Schoolwide Style Guide.
Project Management: Management of projects with many moving parts, such as major campaigns or event promotions.
Digital Asset Management: Acquiring and managing stock assets; managing School’s photo depot, asset archives, and partner logo assets.
Graduate Admissions: CRM administration; online application administration; admission and recruitment policies; admission event registration; reporting.
Media Campaigns: Working with publications and media placement companies for radio, print, billboards, digital advertisements, and social advertisements.

Creative & Design
Graphic Design: Informational and marketing materials (brochures, infosheets); media campaigns; display materials (banners, wall clings); logos for departments and centers; multipage strategic documents (annual reports); templates (PowerPoint, Resume Books); printer specifications.
Copy Writing: Materials supporting premiere events and strategic initiatives. (For news/press, see Media Relations).
Photography: Photoshoots for strategic marketing; event photography for premiere events; faculty and staff headshots; photo editing.
Video: Video production for strategic marketing; event videography for select events; video releases; video editing.

Digital & Web
Website Administration: Development sites, navigation, web forms, users, policies, child theme; managing web content managers; support for faculty websites and student organizations.
Web Design: Special projects for website design requiring additional functionality; resources, templates, and best practices.
Web Analytics: Monitoring and reporting on website performance.
Email Communications: Schoolwide electronic publication; research email newsletter; graduate admissions emails; special event emails.
Blog: Managing the platform to showcase voices of students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Media Relations
News & Press: Press releases; event promotion and coverage (post-event articles) for premiere events; business briefs; monitor and distribute faculty media mentions.
Press Relations: Point person for media inquiries; connecting strategic content with relevant press coverage.
Social Media: Schoolwide social media activities; process, oversight, and support for entities within the School of Business.
Event Promotion: University and external event calendars; social media for public facing events; display monitors.
Distribution: Social, Pressroom, Display Monitors, and E-mail newsletters.
